Gone With The Wind is my favorite movie of all time, and if you’ve watched it, you know that it takes place in Georgia and they go up to Charleston, South Carolina as well. So when Trav and I were planning a trip for his 30th Birthday/our 1st Wedding Anniversary to Washington, D.C. I thought why not rent a car and travel down to Charleston & Savannah where my favorite movie took place? And I’m so glad we did! I absolutely loved it there. Now one of my life goals is to own a vacation home there (check in on that in 30 years or so haha). Also, did you know Charleston was ranked the #1 city by Conde Nast for the fifth year in a row? And Savannah was ranked #5 on that same list.
Now that I’ve inserted a GIF of Scarlett to set the mood, let’s get to the pictures!
The day Trav and I got married was the absolute best day of our lives. It was so beautiful and we still can’t help but smile at each other every time we talk about it. The day flew by really fast but two moments are frozen in time perfectly in my memory. The first being the first time we saw each other that day. It was almost like an overwhelming feeling that everything had brought me right there to that moment with him. Every day, every trial, every joy, every tear, every smile, every heartbreak, every adventure, every less-than-great decision, every single step I had ever taken had led me right there, to that moment with him on our wedding day. Nothing else that seemed so important actually mattered anymore. There was no anxiety about who was looking at us, and it didn’t matter what color the flowers were, because him and I were about to begin the next chapter of our lives – the best one yet.
The second moment was when we were placing our wedding rings on each others fingers. I just remember looking into his tear-filled eyes as he smiled down at me with the most incredible expression and truly feeling like I was the most loved soul on this Earth. If there is one thing our marriage has taught me that I would want to share with others, it’s that God must truly and deeply love us. If Travis can love me THIS much – then God’s love is simply unimaginable. So when I’m asked if I have any regrets in my life the answer is always never. Not a single one. Because I love him more than I thought was even possible. He is the perfect man for me and God was the one who led me here and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Okay, so now what you are really looking at this post for – the pictures! I will also put all of the event details at the very bottom of this post. P.S. There are a lot of photos so it may take a minute to load depending on your internet speed. Enjoy!
Guess what? Today is Thursday which means we are only a one. day. away. from the weekend (yay)! So I wanted to do a quick post about Glossier – you’ve probably already heard of them but I’ll give you a quick summary if you haven’t. Glossier was born out of a beauty blog that was founded in 2010 by CEO Emily Weiss. The company’s mission is to essentially simplify skin care and make-up. They believe that beauty starts within and then with the skin. They focus on natural beauty products that enhance what already makes you beautiful. Click read more to see my top product pics!

Happy Tuesday, Friends! Today is Amazon Prime Day so I thought I would do a quick post on some of the best deals (aka ones that I would consider for myself or piqued my interest) that I’ve seen while perusing. Also, don’t expect stuff like hard drives and computer fans. 😂 Let us begin.
The month of June has come and gone and it’s already JULY which is prettyyy crazy because it means Christmas is only six month away (yay!). So let’s just skip the small talk today and jump right into this month’s favorites.
So this is quite delayed. It would have been fitting to have posted this in December AKA one year later, but alas, May it is. Time for a quick journey back in time to post about our engagement (and hopefully wedding/honeymoon eventually too)! Click read more to see pictures and read about the details!

HELLO! This is my first post (at least one without just pictures) I’ve published in quite some time. To be fair to myself, I DID have some issues with my domain but it’s all sorted out now; however, the main reason (really the only reason – *cough* my domain was a half ass excuse *cough*) I haven’t uploaded is because of my schedule. Lots of happenings in my life this past year. A work promotion, trips to Nor Cal, family events, a move, and most importantly getting engaged and then married to my best friend and the love of my life. More on those wonderful, happy events later.
I’m back online though and I will be uploading more posts for all my readers out there… HAH (AKA – My real life friends, but hey! Fake it till ya make it!) I’m going to make an effort to write more, and in honor of that, I felt like I should talk about one of my favorite authors – Jane Austen.
